Just How Sizzling Is It?
Unfortunately I found the spark in Sizzling Gems to fizzle out rather quickly. Novomatic have simply designed the symbols to appear in gemstone form to differentiate them from how the symbols appear in so many of their other fruit machine slots, however that simply isn’t enough to make it worthwhile playing when you consider the vast amount of alternatives available such as the Xtra Hot slot machine which has also been developed by Novomatic.
Granted, there are some tasty wins on offer, however I actually found this to be a higher variance slot than normal from Novomatic as I went quite a few spins without winning anything, although when I did win it was usually a decent result which made up for this.
The only ‘feature’ is a gamble option but that is of no surprise as these types of slot machines are targeted at players who enjoy simplistic gameplay rather than triggering bonus features and watching animated scenes which take up more playing time.
